24.02.2022

On 26 and 27 January 2022, the IV All-Russian Conference titled “Import Substitution, Accessible Medical Care, and Equal Opportunities in Dermatology” supported by AKRIKHIN was held in Moscow.

This year the conference was held using a new interactive online format, including presentations by medical experts, discussions between participants, clinical topic-specific quizzes, as well as virtual presentation booth of companies.

On 26 January, the research programme featured reports on combined therapy of steroid-responsive dermatosis and topical therapy of acne and rosacea by the leading professors and reputable dermatologists, namely: M.V. Ustinov, Central Hospital No.2 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Prof. L.V. Silina, Kursk State Medical University.

On 27 January, during the symposium for the Russian pharmaceutical industry representatives, AKRIKHIN speakers, namely Anna Meyendorff, the head of the Acriol project, and Maria Kolbina medical adviser, delivered a report on Acriol and answered multiple questions from the professional audience about the aspects of use of products from the comprehensive Akrikhin skin care portfolio.

The conference featured such skin-care brands of the company as: Akriderm, Comfoderm, Azelic, Clindovit®, Venolife, and Acriol Pro.

During the event, a voting was also held among the experts within the contest titled “Top 10 Most Important Russian Drug Products and Technologies in the Practice of an STD and Skin Expert”. Following the results thereof, Akrikhin brands Venolife and Comfoderm were awarded the diplomas in nominations titled “Promising Product for Soft Tissue Traumas and Hematomas Management” and “Topical Corticosteroid”.

Import substitution in pharmaceuticals is one of the key issues of the industry. It has been discussed repeatedly during multiple events and has become one of the priorities of the state programme titled “Pharma-2030”. AKRIKHIN has been constantly developing its portfolio of medicinal products in the most popular therapeutic areas and regularly communicates with the medical community. The company sees such events as focal, as they provide a chance to contribute to the development of Russian medicine and pharmaceutical industries by sharing their level of expertise in certain medical areas.
