SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE COVID-19 AS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY PROBLEM SUPPORTED BY AKRIKHIN

National Online School for Infectious Diseases “COVID-19 as an Interdisciplinary Problem” – a scientific event for doctors – was held on 22–23 April 2021 with Akrikhin’s support.

The School was organized by the National Research Society of Infectious Disease Specialists and Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education Ryazan State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

The conference intended for the medical community featured the country’s leading experts who examined the problem of COVID-19, analysed it from diverse therapeutic perspectives, outlined the diagnostic features, and answered the participants’ questions. The event was quite relevant for therapists, infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists, dermatologists, and paediatricians.

National Online School for Infectious Diseases “COVID-19 as an Interdisciplinary Problem was preceded by a series of scientific webinars initiated by Akrikhin in late 2020 – early 2021. Lectures were delivered by about 5,000 specialists. Both projects are based on a popular interdisciplinary approach to the problem of COVID-19.

At present, online conferences and learning constitute an integral part of top-end health professionals’ life. They make it possible to share up-to-date information, acquire new knowledge, and improve one’s competency in the relevant area in real time notwithstanding the location.
